So by the suggestion of my cousin Bekah, Ive started a blog of my wedding planning for others to follow. Ive never done a blog, so I do not know how often Ill post, but something is better than nothing, right!
I have been engaged sense May, here is my proposal story:
It was a Sunday afternoon, Stanton suggested we go on a 4 wheeler ride, and I agreed. He took me all around the country as I sat behind him holding on, he then stopped in a orchard and asked me If I wanted to drive and I declined, he persisted so we switched places and he looked me in the eyes and said "will you marry me?" I thought he was kidding so I just blew him off until he stuck the gorgeous ring in my face and I screamed! Then Stanton reminded me I had to say yes, So I did and we rode home to tell his parents and mine the news.
Sense then, I have picked out my dress, the bridesmaids dresses and some of the decorations. Sense Ive had about 3 months in between school and taking my state board test its been a great time to get a lot done.
The theme of our wedding is rustic, vintage and laid back. Ive been collecting vintage crystal and milk glass vases for the head table as well as some cream lanterns to be mixed in the decor. Our flowers will be ivory and peach mostly peonies and other full, airy flowers with greenery and some gray foliage.Im going to try and give you a feel for the wedding without telling every detail!
